Bitter Night~ Diana Pharaoh Francis

Wow! Where do I begin? I read this book in about 24hrs. At first I was doubting reading this book. I owned it and it was on my TBR pile but I bumped it up because it was a group(Making A Dent In Our Adult Shelves/Shelfari) read for Jan. Boy, am I glad I did! The book was a little slow in the beginning and I wasn't sure if I was going to go on past the first chapter, but I did and I'm so glad I did.
It was an action packed, story with a great female lead, who happens to be a strong, powerful, kick butt chick with heart. The author really knows how to weave a great storyline, with action, adventure, and heart. For me it was a rollercoster of adventures, with turn paging chapters, and I know I held my breath a few times in a few scenes. Magic and Witchery at its best. 5+ Stars. I will definitely be reading the second and third book.  5+ Stars
