Soooo, yep it WAS my birthday June 24 and I had a great birthday, spending time with my family and getting another year older O-O, Yikes, I know it's not that big of a deal, and your only as old as you feel, yadda, yadda BUT really, as you get older time seems to zoom by faster and faster and these birthdays creep up faster and faster.

    I'd recommend Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. It's such an emotional roller coaster ride, but I didn't want it to end. The author is now re-writing the book from the male's POV. Can't wait for that one!

  8. I just finished This is Not A Test by Courtney Summers. It is a YA horror with Zombies and very character driven ...awesomeness! Happy Birthday cupcake and thanks for sharing!

  11. I don't know if you have read and Falling, fly by Skyler White. Its paranormal fantasy romance. I really enjoyed reading it.

    One book that I have read this year that I suggest is Lethal Rider by Larissa Ione. Great book series! It is a spin-off from Demonica.

  17. Happy Belated Birthday! There are lots of good books I'd recommend. Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers, Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock, Struck by Jennifer Bosworth, and lastly Scars by Cheryl Rainfield. (I just finished Scars a few days ago and it blew me away. It was really amazing.) Thanks for the giveaway! I LOVE that little doll!!

I would recommend The Graveyard Queen series if you haven't tried those, The Restorer and The Kingdom (haven't read The Prophet yet, so can't recommend)

  23. Firstly, happy late birthday! :) I would definitely recommend Cell by Stephen King. The ending drove me nuts (like most of his books do) but it was well written and worth the read. Plus, zombie like folks!

    I would recommend Dark Companion by Marta Acosta. I just finished reading it and it was a fantastic new twist on a specific group of paranormals that I can't get enough of (that's all I'll say because I really don't want to spoil the story)!

  30. I would recommend Divergent series by veronica roth, I've got Your number by Sophie Kinsella and Practice Makes Perfect by Julie James.. so far...that's my favorite book for this year^^

  38. I recently read Bring on the Night by Jeri Smith Ready- I think the series is an interesting take on vampires, some aspects of which she drew from old-school tales.
