I love the ocean and all things to do with water! Since my sign is a water element, maybe that's why? I even live super close to the ocean, So this hop was a must for me!!

  4. My favorite so far is a water elemental and a mermaid in a book called Semester Aboard (More than Magic #1) by Elizabeth Kirke, and I started reading Sprite by Leigh Michael, and am liking it too. I have all 3 Madley Books, but have not gotten to them yet. So if I win, i would pick Wake

  7. When I was a kid, I remember The Water Babies, that was really adorable. These days though, I haven't really read anything like this. I'd love to start though :)

  9. There's the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead. In Bloodlines Jill's element was water and she liked being around it.

    At first I couldn't think of anything, just the mystery Death in the Water by Carola Dunn where a rower was murdered.

  11. That would Monstrous Beauty, Fathomless and Everblue :) Love all these. MB and Fathomless are slightly darker, more scary, eerie and sinister :) Everblue is very enjoyable, though it also has its darker moments - it's a perfect mix! :)

  12. I haven't really been reading any books water themed. Tiger's Voyage was set in the water and that was amazing, but I just downloaded the first Madly ebook, so I will be able to start that series and Wake is on my TBR list, so this is an amazing opportunity to win for me! lol Thanks for the chance! =)

  17. I don't know what a water element means. I can see by comments that water is in the book. Can I enter even though I can't think of any books at all that I have read that deal with water?
    Wake sounds like one I would really enjoy.
