Three POV's, one girl, two guys = A love triangle. BUT, this love triangle was not your average one, and was surprisingly done well.

This book opens right up with the main character, Dani Ruiz having her heart broken by her boyfriend at the time, Rick. Rick was a definite "Dick" to Dani. Rick is basically a playboy, he's got the chops because he's hot, but other then that he's a a** with a capital  A. He thinks he's basically god's gift to women, and I always wondered why Dani ever started a relationship with him in the first place.

Dani then goes through the break- up phase. I'm sure we all have been through it. A slight depression sets in with Dani and to relieve herself from her sadness she becomes a book geek, there I said it. YES, she is just like me or you. Having THREE Kindle's and reading like a fiend. She even has book boyfriends, and she loves it. Her friends think she's crazy and try to have an intervention to have her quit the Kindle and start having a life again. Dani, of course is not happy about her friends attacking her "precioussss" Kindle, and thinks they are the ones who have lost it.  Lucky for Dani the good ole' Kindle is the reason why she meets the sexy but utterly gorgeous Liam.

Ahhh.. Liam hmmm. A Firefighter, who is not only sexy, but totally perfect, maybe a little too perfect at times, but would I turn him down, no I think not!! ;) Anywy, Liam sees Dani in a CPR class that he is teaching. Dani is one of the students, and since she's been there done that she knows everything there is to know about CPR, so she buries her head in her Kindle, and thank goodness she does, because that has definitely caught Liam's eye, and as he approaches her to tear her away from reading and try to get her to pay attention, he finds her irristable, and starts a light flirting session with her. Liam definitely catches Dani's eye, and manages to have Dani pay attention only to him, what kindle? Their attraction is steamy but as class ends they go their separate ways with no numbers exchanged, but there is a definite attraction between these two, and it manages to wake Dani up from her Kindle fog.

Dani and her besties, Macy and Caroline decide it's finally time to hit the town and go to the hottest opening to a new club. Of course, Dani has some slight reservations that her ex "the dick" will be there but she still manages to dress herself up and looks smokin' hot. Grabbing attention from not only a past love, "the dick" but lo and behold, yep you guessed it the sexy firefighter, Liam whom she just met that day. The Dick is surprised to see her, having just thought about her, and decides he wants to conquer her again, but notices she seems over the moon about Liam being at the club. This sparks something in "the dick" he really doesn't care for Dani but instead wants to just "win her over" and wants to have smokin' sex with her.

What ensues is a plot that has "the dick" becoming relentless on trying to get Dani back into his bed, and having Liam fall for Dani, and shower her with compliments and love. But, Dani being Dani, doesn't know what to do as she tries to figure out which one she wants more. "The dick" is always plotting, and becomes manipulative, when it comes to Liam to Dani. Trying to tear them from one another using Dani's past feeling for him and trying once again to ruin her in the love department. Will she make the right decision or will she have a  "do over" with "the dick"?

The Do Over was one of those books that I liked and then didn't. There were times when I was bored with the dragging out plot, and then there were times when I enjoyed the heat, and smoking hot scenes, and the triple POV's were done really well.  The book is written well, and grabs your attention on some parts, but there were other parts that I was just not feeling, and of course I wasn't happy with some of Dani's decisions, but felt redeemed with the ending. Overall, I would say this book was good and did manage to hold my attention, and was not your typical love triangle, which was refreshing.
