ReplyDeleteI'd recommend Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. It's such an emotional roller coaster ride, but I didn't want it to end. The author is now re-writing the book from the male's POV. Can't wait for that one!

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers, Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock, Struck by Jennifer Bosworth, and lastly Scars by Cheryl Rainfield. (I just finished Scars a few days ago and it blew me away. I would recommend The Graveyard Queen series if you haven't tried those, The Restorer and The Kingdom (haven't read The Prophet yet, so can't recommend)

Firstly, happy late birthday! :) I would definitely recommend Cell by Stephen King. The ending drove me nuts (like most of his books do) but it was well written and worth the read. Plus, zombie like folks!

ReplyDeleteI would recommend Dark Companion by Marta Acosta. I just finished reading it and it was a fantastic new twist on a specific group of paranormals that I can't get enough of (that's all I'll say because I really don't want to spoil the story)!
