.Cover Reveal: #Giveaway Wildfire Gospel by Kenya Wright

Hey guys! I'm sharing another new Cover with you, and this reveal is guest posted by the author, Kenya Wright. Don't forget to enter the awesome Giveaway, below!  Chow, for now, lovies!

I'm not even going to lie to you. Writing the third book was fun!! It's probably my favorite one out of the series so far, because the characters' powers have evolved and. . .I'm continuing to grow as a writer.

Writing has become a second skin for me now, and walking through the Santeria Habitat is like visiting home.

Check out the cover, blurb, and enter the giveaway to win a $30 Amazon Gift Card!

   Lanore's TO  DO    LIST

#1- Set Dante on fire until he’s nothing but smoke and ash.

#2- Find Nona and Mother Earth, tie them to a tree, and create the biggest bonfire Santeria has ever seen.

#3- Find out if there is anybody higher in Mother Earth's psychotic chain of command.

#4- Burn anybody else to a crisp if they get in my fucking way.

Lanore destroys her old beliefs of nonviolence. Flames of revenge now fuel her movements forward. Too many of her loved ones have died and she's done shedding tears. Sadly, she can't boil Dante's blood just yet. He has the resources to help Zulu and her. And they really need them. Discovering Mother Earth's whereabouts is difficult to say the least. She's not what they thought she was. She's something more.

Meanwhile, Lanore's father is missing. Normally, that wouldn't trigger her to stress, but there's been whispers spreading around the habitat like a wildfire. People have spotted a Demon with feline eyes and fire spotted cheetah skin, one that appeared at the Masquerade Ball right after MeShack was killed. She's hoping Graham will have some answers.

Is this Demon a coincidence or nothing at all? Is she's just grasping at a last bit of hope that somehow MeShack is alive or should she face the truth of his death?

Witch Hearts is my second novel, an adult paranormal thriller meant for those who liked to be a little creeped out and also enjoy a murder mystery. My first book, Gifted, A Donovan Circus Novel, is about a murder at a supernatural circus, and is available at Amazon on Kindle and paperback. Now without further ado, the cover for Witch Hearts!

WHCoverWeb

  Witch Hearts Synopsis:

How does a witch stay safe if a killer can get through her protection spells?

Witches like Ruby and Courtney can take care of themselves. So when Courtney is murdered, Ruby’s world crashes to a halt. The only thing keeping her grounded is the return of Courtney’s brother, Cooper. He seeks revenge, but Ruby wants to help other witches stay alive. To do that, she’ll have to reunite with her old coven’s High Priest, who also happens to be her cheating ex-boyfriend.

If that wasn’t awkward enough, when the killer gets too close, Cooper temporarily moves into Ruby’s place while a police officer tails her every move. Cooper’s presence distracts Ruby as they fight their desire against their need to stay safe. Then Courtney begins to haunt Ruby’s dreams and secrets are spilled, things from Cooper’s past that could get them both killed. The killer continues to stalk Ruby and the more she discovers, the more she fears she won’t be able to keep her heart in her chest.

.Cover Reveal: #Giveaway The Avery Shaw Experiment by @kellyoram

Title: The Avery Shaw Experiment
Author: Kelly Oram
Publisher: Bluefields
Format: ebook
Genre: YA contemporary romance
Release Date: May 2013

Summary:

When Avery Shaw’s heart is shattered by her life-long best friend, she chooses to deal with it the only way she knows how—scientifically.

The state science fair is coming up and Avery decides to use her broken heart as the topic of her experiment. She’s going to find the cure. By forcing herself to experience the seven stages of grief through a series of social tests, she believes she will be able to get over Aiden Kennedy and make herself ready to love again. But she can’t do this experiment alone, and her partner (ex partner!) is the one who broke her heart.

Avery finds the solution to her troubles in the form of Aiden’s older brother Grayson. The gorgeous womanizer is about to be kicked off the school basketball team for failing physics. He’s in need of a good tutor and some serious extra credit. But when Avery recruits the lovable Grayson to be her “objective outside observer,” she gets a whole lot more than she bargained for, because Grayson has a theory of his own: Avery doesn’t need to grieve. She needs to live. And if there’s one thing Grayson Kennedy is good at, it’s living life to the fullest.

Teaser One - Avery

Grayson finally noticed Aiden and I on the couch. “What are you two dorks doing?”

“Learning about steroids,” I said cheerfully. “You should probably know that using them can cause acne, testicular atrophy, decreased sperm count, prostate enlargement and gynecomastia.”

Grayson looked rightfully appalled. “Gyneco-what-ia?”

“Enlarged breasts in men,” Aiden translated. “So you should lay off the juice before you have to start borrowing Avery’s bras.”

I gasped at the mention of my underwear and whacked Aiden’s shoulder hard.

Behind me, Grayson laughed. I knew he was about to deliver a comeback, but I refused to look at him. Seconds later his breath was warm on my neck. He whispered just low enough that his mother couldn’t hear what he said. “I like my bras colorful and lacey, Aves. Not sure your collection would do it for me.”

Total mortification. Grayson may be as close as family to me, but he was still one of the hottest, most popular guys in our whole school. Him discussing my bras in that low sexy voice that could stop a girl’s heart on the spot made my lungs constrict. Plus, he was right of course. My bras were all of the plain white cotton variety.

Teaser Two - Grayson

I started to leave the room but she stopped me at the door. “Grayson?” Her tone tugged at something inside me. “You really want to take me with you tonight?”

She sounded so small and unsure of herself. It was how she always sounded at school and around strangers, but never when she was at home with us. I think my brother had really broken her. I was seriously going to have to beat him sometime.

“You don’t have to if you don’t want to. I know I really freaked out on you earlier, but I promise I’ll be fine. Aiden’s right.” She swallowed back a lump in her throat. “I’ll manage without him somehow.”

“Aiden’s a tool. You can learn how to manage tomorrow. Tonight’s New Years Eve and for once in your life you’re going to spend it without Aiden or The Discovery Channel.

I knew I was making progress when she cracked a smile and asked, “What about Whootylicious in 7 B?”

I thought of the luscious booty I’d originally planned on seeing tonight and sighed. “That will be an unfortunate loss, but, like you, I will just have to deal.”

I winked and then decided I’d give her ten minutes before I came back and physically dragged her out of bed.

.Cover Reveal: Awakened by @KristonJohnson

Love this cover, and that sword!! The blurb sounds pretty good, too, especially...

"An innocent girl, tormented by demons only she can see, lives on the brink of insanity and longs for a life of peace."    "Assassinate their sworn enemy…Or sacrifice her soul"

Yep, sounds like a winner, to me! What are your thoughts?

Awakened
Kriston Johnson
Series: The Legends Of Elyndia, #1
Publication date:  April 25th 2013
Genre: YA Fantasy
Goodreads

Can fighting for the right side be the wrong thing to do?

Draven, the tyrant ruler of Elyndia for the last one thousand years, searches for the one who can fulfill his prophecy.

The Paladins, an elite band of warriors sworn to protect their way of life at all cost, search for the one with the ability to bring their world crumbling down.

An innocent girl, tormented by demons only she can see, lives on the brink of insanity and longs for a life of peace.

When seventeen-year-old Jade Rosenberg reads from an antique book, she has no idea she just read an incantation awaking her inherited power. But when opposing—and equally terrifying—groups invade her home, she learns she is descended from an enchanted realm and a member of a powerful race thought to have been hunted to extinction.

Ripped from her world, Jade is forced to seek refuge from those who want her dead. She is given one of two options and the time has come for her to make a choice: assassinate their sworn enemy…

Or sacrifice her soul.

Kriston Johnson lives in Southwest Washington with her husband, teenage son, and miniature Australian Shepherd. Her home rests at the fringe of an old growth forest that she insists is the home of Jason Voorhees. Her husband thinks that’s a ridiculous assumption, because everyone knows it’s really Bigfoot. Every summer Kriston participates in the annual pilgrimage to Faerieworlds, a real life faerie realm here on Earth, and has an unhealthy obsession with Star Wars, The Vampire Diaries, and Iron Man. Awakened is her first novel. You can visit her online at www.kristonjohnson.blogspot.com.

My Review  HERE

Sometime later, Amy’s cold nose nudges Jenna awake. Slightly groggy from her nap, she blindly shoves herself to four paws and goes to follow the grey-colored wolf as she leads the way back towards the cabin. The trees start to become familiar shortly before they trot back to where they’ve left their clothes piled on the ground. The only problem is that their clothes are no longer there. Amy shifts back to her human form, while Jenna circles the area looking for her things.
In a frustrated huff, Amy yells, “Clay! Damn you, bring us back our clothes! This is not funny!”
Booming laughter comes from somewhere in the house as Amy starts muttering curses. Pushing her hair out of her face in clear frustration, she turns to look back at Jenna’s pitch black wolf form. “Come on, Jenna. You can shift back in the house once we get to my room. I’ll find what Clay did with your clothes and bring them to you. He’s a damn annoying prankster. You’d think after pulling off the same joke since we were teenagers he’d be over it already.”
Amy stomps across the yard to the back of the house giving small frustrated whines as Jenna pads along behind her aggravated companion up the stairs and through the back door. Once inside the open and airy home, they find their clothes dumped unceremoniously in the middle of the living room floor. She picks hers up with her mouth as Amy points to the small bathroom that she can change in, off the living room and near the front door. Amy is already halfway dressed and tells Jenna that she will grab some fresh bandages by the time she reaches the door.
Entering the small half bathroom that holds only a sink and a toilet, Jenna nudges the door closed with her nose. Shifting back, she uses the hand towel hanging next to the sink to quickly clean herself off so that she is at least a little presentable to the rest of the world. Feeling fresher, she bends over to pull her clothes on only to stop short when she realizes her shirt is missing. Shit. It must still be in the living room. Cracking the door, she calls out Amy’s name. After waiting a minute and getting no response, she sticks her head out the door and looks around.
There, still in the middle of the floor, is her charcoal grey tank top. She looks down at her half-dressed self in a black lace bra and jeans, then back to the tank top in the middle of the floor. Taking another quick peek around, she makes the decision to scoot out quickly and grab the top. What are the chances of anyone seeing her anyhow?
She really should have recalculated those chances.

So what do you think about the new cover? Better than the previous cover, or not so much? I kind of like both! I love the toughness of the first and the seduction of the new updated one.
