  39. Although I loved Divergent, really thought it was great, I only gave it 4 stars...and I'm a little concerned about reading Insurgent because I've heard the characterization of Tris really nosedives from strong, independent, fierce little thing to simpering, I-need-a-man wuss. :( I also LOVED Cinder and can't wait to read the next installment - but still only 4 stars. The closest to a 5-star read for me would have to be Across the Universe, which I'm almost done with, and which I think would technically end up with a 4.5, but...close enough! I really need something that just blows me over!
